Trane Rand provides heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems
that enhance the quality and comfort of the air in homes and buildings
around the world. Its offerings, under the Trane and American Standard
Heating & Air Conditioning brands, include energy efficient systems,
service and parts support and advanced building controls.
The Sr Parts Account Manager position is responsible for all activities
related to developing and strengthening key customer relationships to
ensure maximum account penetration and customer retention. Develops and
executes sales strategies to develop business partner relationships with
key and new accounts, selling parts and solutions to achieve revenue
and margin goals.
- Secure orders for HVACR Parts offerings that achieve sales and OI
objectives. Drive sales by providing solutions to customers that address
their respective business needs.
- Develop effective relationships with key customer contacts that lead to
profitable parts sales. Maintain highest level of communication with
accounts and handle customer service activities. Implement customer
feedback procedures/programs to assess customer satisfaction levels.
- Develop account and sales plans that support district objectives for
parts sales, OI and competitive account penetration. Develop and
maintain
current customer / account information regarding product/service issues,
customer visits, personal contact information, etc.
- Penetrate competitive accounts through aggressive and creative,
solutions-
based strategies. Identify cross-selling opportunities where they exist
and involve representatives from other business streams as appropriate.
- Develop and maintain current knowledge of all portfolio offerings and
related value propositions; leverage knowledge of competitor/industry
trends and competitor value propositions to strategic advantage.
- Provide market intelligence to district and territory parts managers.
- Responsible for continuing self-development especially in the areas of
interpersonal communications, negotiations, account management, cross-
selling, technical concepts and solutions selling.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in HVAC or sales related program, 5 to 10 years experience or a combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in computer use and Microsoft office products .
- An effective communicator who can thrive within a team oriented
environment
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, detail oriented and
highly motivated
- 3+ years of HVAC/refrigeration industry related experience required
- Able to define account needs and develop complete customer specific
account and sales strategies
